Ed Lander discusses one of Glenn Greenwald’s latest reports ‘How Covert Agents Infiltrate the Internet to Manipulate, Deceive, and Destroy Reputations‘ where groups are destroyed by online lies and individuals can be ‘character assassinated’. Not only Britain’s ‘enemies’ either, these are British campaigners who they are targeting too. Ed explains Boeing’s new ‘Black Phones’ which are supposed to be more secure than other forms of communication.
Paul Saville is a Bristol based community artist who is not convinced by mayor George Ferguson’s politics. He sees the mayor as merely translating the wishes of the rich city elite into actions, and democracy and consultations to be nothing more than a sham.
Jason Yannacopoulos takes us through this week’s Private Eye stories of government and City of London corruption and Sarah Bromberg discusses Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and Educational Support Allowance (ESA).
